I have created a T-Rex using ZBrush and Blender. I had started off by creating low poly geometry by following a tutorial by Karan Shah (https://cgi.tutsplus.com/tutorials/modeling-uvmapping-and-texturing-a-low-poly-t-rex-in-blender-part-1--cg-12763). Then I used ZBrush to sculpt the body further and to also create the normal maps for the skin and used Mari for the rest of the texture painting.
