Corvette Side, Trunk and Tail.

General / 08 July 2022

The second part of the project consided of me modeling the front fendors, doors, roof and tail end of the car, using the guide mesh to help me. As you can see below the guide mesh continues to be successful as reflections passed through and there were no bumps in the mesh due to the shrinkwrap.

The most challenging part of this were there the indent and cut outs of the fendor and tail of the car. This was because I could not use the shrinkwrap modifier to do this so I had to be careful and do extra planning ahead when I'm adding edgeloops and moving vertices.

In conclusion by looking at the wireframe you can see that the mesh flows cleanly and fluently show few triangles and zero N-Gons. The next part for me will be to work on thr smaller parts of the car such as the windows and frames as well as the vents.
